The Structural Engineers Association of San Diego (SEAOSD) proudly participates in outreach events to educate students about structural engineering, what the structural engineering profession entails, and the various career opportunities. These events can include engineering fairs, career fairs, and classroom presentations.
If you are interested in arranging an outreach event or if there is a particular event that you think would benefit by SEAOSD’s involvement, please contact the PR Committee Chair, Sarah Witt at email@example.com.
Public Outreach Goals
• Promote public awareness of structural engineering and its crucial contributions to the safety of the built environment.
• Encourage students to consider a career in structural engineering by connecting local students with industry professionals.
• Give back to the community through charitable projects.
